Waiting in a car Waiting for a ride in the dark The night city grows Look and see her eyes, they glow
Waiting in a car Waiting for a ride in the dark Drinking in the lounge Waiting for a roar Looking at the mutating skyline The city is my church It wraps me in the sparkling twilight
Waiting in a car Waiting for the right time Waiting in a car Waiting for the right time Waiting in a car Waiting for the right time Waiting in a car Waiting for the right time Waiting in a car Waiting for a ride in the dark
When you go to a live show and push to the front, you end up sticking your arms up and your elbows out to give you some leverage and space in the mosh. Do that for 2 hours or so and the next day you have knackered fore arms.
We call this GIG ARM.
It’s like Tennis Elbow or First Date Bicep (where you tense your arm the entire date to make her thing you’re stacked and then your arm kills the next day).
“Father and Son,” which plays when Sam sees his father for the first time in 20 years. SO PRETTY. I love it when they take the Tron: Legacy theme and slowed it down to this beautiful thing.
I found Tron Legacy to be a so-so film, fairly by the numbers sci-fi. I was also really confused how they rammed in the prophetic and father-son story into a sequel to a film that was largely knockabout fun.
That said, it has an AMAZING soundtrack. I think it’s some of Daft Punk’s best work with some songs like Adiago For Tron being a piece of classical beauty, while others like Fallmake for amazing electro that you’d want to parachute to (well, I would at least)
The remix of the soundtrack album is just as good, if not better, Encom Part 2sounds like it wouldn’t be out of place in Blade Runner.
